Jesús Gómez Taboada Notary Public
He is a member of the international section of the General Council of Notaries, as well as the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF); the Catalan Association of Inheritance Law Specialists (ACEDS); also a member of the Peruvian School of Notarial and Registry Law, the Cuban Notary Society and the the Argentine Notarial University.
He has also been part of the Observatory of Private Law Catalonia (2007-2019); and the commission of experts appointed to review the bill for Book IV (Inheritance) of the Civil Code of Catalonia (2007).
He is a professor in the Master’s program for access to the legal profession at the International University of Catalonia (UIC), as well as in the course of inheritance law, the Master’s program in real estate law, and the Master’s program in inheritance and family law at the Illustrious Bar Association of Barcelona.
Furthermore, he has been a guest lecturer at the universities of Barcelona, Autonomous University of Barcelona, Lleida, and Rey Juan Carlos of Madrid; San Francisco de Macorís (Dominican Republic); Havana (Cuba); Medellín and Externado de Bogotá (Colombia); San Ignacio de Loyola of Lima, Catholic University of Lima, Technological University of Lima, and Catholic University of Santa María de Arequipa (Peru).
He has also been a speaker, representing the Spanish Notary, at congresses held in Varadero (Cuba) in 1998; Lima (Peru) in 2000; Mendoza (Argentina) in 2004; Fortaleza (Brazil) in 2005; Barcelona in 2006; San Juan de Puerto Rico in 2006; Cuzco (Peru) in 2007; Ica (Peru) in 2008; Algiers (Algeria) in 2008; Cartagena (Colombia) in 2009; La Paz (Bolivia) in 2011; Madrid in 2012; Havana (Cuba) in 2014; and Chincha (Peru) in 2018.
He has also participated in the Congress of Private International Law of the ERA (Academy of European Law) held in Vienna in May 2023; and he is a speaker at the Tossa (Girona) Conference on Civil Law of Catalonia (2023).
